NIKE LEBRON 13 PERFORMANCE REVIEW

NIKE LEBRON 13 PERFORMANCE REVIEW

LeBron James signed a lifetime deal with Nike, cementing his already stable position as Nike’s current top endorser. That means it’s no surprise that Nike would use a person in such a position to help lead new innovative technology. But at times, Nike is arguably even better at marketing that innovation, than the innovation itself. Sometimes it takes a try or two to get that technology right. The Nike LeBron Soldier 11 doesn’t necessarily introduce any new technology, but it implements recent innovations like Hyperposite and hexagonal Zoom better than any shoe before it.

Traction – The traction used on the LeBron 13 is something that I was initially unimpressed with – visually – but they ended up working really well on-court. The hex pods found throughout the outsole feature large bars that act like herringbone, and are implemented in multiple directions for coverage no matter how or where you’re moving. I was unable to play on a really dusty court so I can’t tell you how dust affects their performance this time around, but on clean and very lightly dusty courts they had zero issues and were very consistent.

Cushion – The setup here is similar to the Nike LeBron 12, but they feel much better than the 12’s did. I still couldn’t really feel the two smaller Hex-Zoom units located on the lateral section of the foot, but the met unit and heel unit were amazing. Those two zones cover a large amount of space, plus they’re both 13mm thick…that’s a pretty damn thick Zoom unit. You can feel the bounce and responsiveness with every stride, and that is something that was truly lacking with the 12.

The old saying holds true: if at first you don’t succeed, try, try again.

Something that was greatly improved due to the new setup was transition. Heel to toe strides are no longer clunky and instead really smooth. The LeBron 12’s had an awesome Zoom unit located in the heel but was met with a hard Posite-covered midsole upon impact. Now all you have is lightweight Phylon and Zoom aiding you through your stride and it makes the shoe feel as light as they actually are.

Materials – The upper is comprised of a one-piece booty with plenty of additional overlays that offer both support where you need it and flexibility where you want it. At their base there is the sock booty, followed by Dynamic Flywire. This provides you with a comfortable fit and minor lockdown support. Then you have a lot of TPU or Fuse in zoned areas. These areas offer zero stretch so your fit isn’t going to be compromised while making hard cuts or changes in direction — this is one thing the upper does better than the MegaFuse/ Mesh build found on last year’s LeBron 12. These TPU layers feel pretty awkward upon trying them on, and all I can say is that you really won’t be satisfied with the upper until you take them on-court and play in them.

The last two layers are mesh and HyperPosite. Basically, the mesh is there to add a final layer without adding too much weight to the shoe while the Posite is there to protect the mesh. Nike states that the HyperPosite provides “Zoned impact protection” but that’s pretty vague. So I’m just assuming it’s really there to protect the mesh — much like the MegaFuse was to protect the mesh on the 12’s. The Posite overlays will not alleviate the pressure from impact when someone steps or lands on you. Trust me…being a smaller player, I get stepped on. A lot.

Fit --I feel they fit true to size, but there is a tiny bit of room length wise in the toe. I don’t feel going down 1/2 size was necessary for me – as I love how my pair fits – but trying them on to determine the perfect size for you is always best.

Those of you with high arches will definitely want to try them on first because the Fuse/ Posite layer that rests on top of the midfoot — like I mentioned before — has zero stretch. So that area might have a negative affect on the fit for some people. However, lockdown due to the Fuse/ Posite sections was fantastic. Again, they feel very awkward when you try them on, and you have to break them in (slightly) each time you go out and play. But once the materials are warmed up then you’re pretty much locked into the shoe and all you’ll have is a great on-court experience. Unless you’re having an off night, and let’s face it, we all have those from time to time.

The only area that I can really say I disliked was the collar height. Not because I prefer low tops, but because there were times it dug into my legs a bit. It wasn’t horrible or to the point where it rubbed the skin raw, but it wasn’t something I enjoyed either

Support – All of the aforementioned Nike KD 10 for sale , from their tooling to their fit, have a positive effect on their support. The 13’s sport a wide base that feels stable — even though there are a couple of large volume Zoom units in place — and the base is slightly wider than the upper so it cradles the foot really nicely (which aids in stability). The materials and fit all do their job with support as well. There are plenty of areas with flex and mobility, but zero stretch. So you’re able to maneuver on-court without feeling like you’re wearing a pair of Timberland’s.

Overall – I didn’t like them when I first tried them on. Like, not even a little. However, they are really dope on-court kicks that perform really well. Traction and cushion were pretty beastly. The materials are something I personally liked more on last year’s model, but larger players will love that combination of flexibility/mobility and support. They’re ultra lightweight too, despite how bulky they look. Light enough to where a small Guard can still maneuver around the court perfectly fine.

As far as their price/ value. That is really your choice. Set up a budget and stick to it. Does a shoe’s performance really change just because of a higher or lower dollar value? No, not at all. If these would have released exactly as they are for $40 versus their $200 price tag; would their performance have changed in any way? Nope. There are great performance models out there and their retail prices range from dirt cheap to hell nah you crazy. So, if a shoe meets your on-court needs and they are within your budget grab a pair and enjoy them on-court. After all, that’s what they were made for.

2017 Air Jordan XI Retro Space Jam Performance reviews

2017 Air Jordan XI Retro Space Jam Performance reviews

Traction – The overall traction was very solid with all things considered. Usually when you have a translucent outsole you lose traction when dust or debris is on the court but thankfully the Air Jordan XI have solid rubber traction pods located in the heel and forefoot.

The clear sections are nice and sticky straight out the box, which is good and bad depending on court conditions. However, I played on well-maintained courts in addition to debris ridden floors and the Air Jordan XI held up perfectly fine. Worst that happened was that I needed to wipe the outsole semi-often on dusty courts.

Cushion – With the lightweight Phylon and full length Air unit in place, cushion is solid as well. While they aren’t as soft as the original or 2000/01 Retro releases, they are still leaps and bounds better than previous Air Jordan models. Impact absorption is available and consistent throughout while still maintaining decent court feel in the forefoot.
* Disclaimer * cushion is as stated in the Silver Anniversary, Cool Grey, Concord & most likely the upcoming Black/ Red colorway which are all post 2010. Air Jordan XI’s from the 2008 CDP & 2009 Space Jams are not the same.

Material – Patent leather and ballistic nylon mesh are used along the upper… oh, and a very small piece of cheap split grain leather is located at the heel. Overall, the materials are nice. The patent leather isn’t quite as strong as it could have been if it were a bit thicker but all in all, the materials performed pretty much on par with the original and previous Retro versions.
If they made an Air Jordan 11.5 with Fuse replacing the eyelets and mid panels, open mesh in place of the ballistic nylon mesh and a Jordan Melo M13 patent leather cut with heel and forefoot embedded Zoom Air… I’m drooling just thinking about it.

Fit – They fit true to size, wide footers may want to get ½ size larger or wait for the materials to break-in a bit… which they will. The mesh wraps around your foot perfectly and the patent ads some support which is greatly needed. Lockdown is great all the way up the shoe so there isn’t much to complain about. Only thing that could pose a problem is that the materials are ‘weak’ in comparison to today’s synthetics but this is where growing up in the 90’s comes into play… we’re used to this type of shoe so it doesn’t bother us at all.

Ventilation – It isn’t great but it isn’t horrible. The material is breathable so that’s going to scores some points but its noticeably not as ventilated as something like the Air Jordan VI, which I still feel has the best ventilation out of the entire lineup

Support – If the materials didn’t move with your foot so much I would say the support is great. The Carbon Fiber adds a lot of support along the entire base of the foot, not just the arch, and the overall fit provides you with the extra reassurance you’d want or need… materials just get a bit flimsy… its mesh… not much you can do.

Overall – The Air Jordan 2018 Release is a straight beast on-court. They look good, feel good and they play well on top of that. I hoped the quality wouldn’t obstruct my opinion on their performance and it honestly hasn’t. These are still one of my personal favorite on-court options of all time. There are better options, of course, but just knowing that you won’t lose and ankle or mess up your knees is definitely something to consider. It’s really their increased price that will cause someone to not wear these on-courts… I had someone come up to me one night after playing and they said “I’ve never seen anyone rock Concord’s to hoop… you must have two pairs.” I do… but even if I only had one… they’re worth playing in.

Why Adidas yeezy boost are expensive ?

Le 8 mai 2017 à  07:21
Rubriques : Air Jordans

Why Adidas yeezy boost are expensive ?
As a world-renowned sports brand, New yeezys 2017 has been popular for a long time . Not only because of boost itself , there is views ,that is, Adidas boost is particularly expensive. Because of its price , more and more people though love it ,but can not offer .

From recently years, you can see from the price of adidas shoes series, you can see that it is difficult to accept the price ,and the most important for young boy ,Adidas is a sign of fashion today. I do not know whether it cooperation with Kanye Omari West, yeezy 350 for sale and yeezy 750 are so expensive, but still hard to get one . There is also expensive for NMD, but even you have more money and it is expensive ,the most difficulty is hard to got one when release. Now someone will ask, why Adidas boost is so expensive but still so popular ? Here are some reason as below :

1.Commercial hype
This is the trick which most of company have been used , we called it honey dicked .Company will cooperate with the top notch, the shoes have a strong effection and has been don enough warm-up before release , especially coupled with their appeal to fans. That is makes the foundation for popular of shoes .Take the yeezy boost as example .It is cooperate with kanye ,who the American popular singer .His affection for younger , it is huge . Kanye and his wife already revealing a bit wind in his live before release . But leave a little suspense, that will be attract more people with mysterious . Without doubt , that increase the visibility of yeezy boost

2.Limitation of quantity

This is a hunger marketing for advertise .it can be said to earn enough . Or to say yeezy, when the yeezy 750 release which limit of 9000 pairs in the the global, so that is the reason why it is popular .Because it is rare and precious, it is necessary to know that many of us are a little less than a strange feeling of affection, Adidas is with this kind of psychology, tightly grasp our desire, heart. Another view is that because sneaker shoes are limitation .so it has become more attractive.

Look at the Fab Five Air Jordan 5s releasing at retail

Le 5 mai 2017 à  05:09
Rubriques : Air Jordans

What many suspected about the "Fab Five" Air Jordan 5s when they were unveiled this weekend has turned out to be true: the shoes aren't releasing at retail. Nike confirmed that detail in a post on Wednesday that offers the best look at the shoes yet.

The shoe, which references the University of Michigan's legendary Fab Five squad, has a maize colorway tied to the school and other collegiate details on the tongue. There's also a "five times" hand sign on the heel that should be familiar to fans of the team.

Nike calls this Jordan 5 a gift from designer Tinker Hatfield to friends and family of Jordan Brand. Hatfield himself picked the shoe as the canvas to celebrate the team.

Michigan has another Jordan Brand Player Exclusive which has just been unveiled by DJ Khaled. Known as the Air Jordan 5 ‘Fab 5’ PE which is inspired by the Michigan Fab 5 team from the 90s.

This Air Jordan 5 features a Yellow, Black and Anthracite color theme which has a similar look to the Air Jordan 5 Tokyo release which took place back in 2011. Using Yellow across the base along with Black and Anthracite accents. Connecting back to the Wolverines is ‘Hail to the Victors’ tags on the inside of the tongue, Michigan Block ‘M’ logo on the tongue and Fab 5 hand on the heel. They also came with a special card which shows the sneakers worn by the Fab 5 or jordan 31 why not

"If you were watching college basketball in the early ‘90s, the Fab Five stuck with you," he said. "They brought a new yeezys 2017 of play. They had swagger to their game that I hadn’t seen at the college level before. They became one of the most iconic teams in college sports."
